It has been intimated to me that one of our fellow members from Faridabad has been physically assaulted and tortured by personnel of GST Department and have been abducted illegally for a long time.
We the entire team of ‘Voice of CA’ highly object and condemn this shameful act of violence and misuse of power vested with authorities. In the interest of our members and our fraternity as a whole, an immediate action is necessary on the part of responsible authorities to be taken against such perpetrators who have assumed to have power to carry out illegal and unconstitutional activities against our members in disguise of being tax authority. I, hereby on behalf of Voice of CA, assure the entire CA fraternity that necessary representation in this matter will be made before highest authorities of concerned department as well as in the ministry seeking necessary action against responsible personnel of the GST Department. We are discussing the issue with the ‘Patron’, ‘Mentors’ and other ‘Senior Members’ for preparing the rousing and cogent representation before the authorities on priority basis.
It is time to unite for fraternity to preserve the confidence of fraternity brethren.
